Description
This is an extreme early pressing of The Doors Strange Days. Cat # EKL 4014 (mono pressing).
This is a west coast mono Monarch pressing which has Sunset Sound Recorders stamped on the rear of jacket (see pictures). From what I can tell, very early copies came with the standard inner sleeve and not the lyric/picture sleeve. Or this could be because this was issued from Sunset.
Also included is a bill of sale from Sunset Sound Recorders dated July 1967. This sheet has some light mold (see pictures).
Etching on the record is: side 1: EKL 4014A (mon) ∆11089side 2: EKL 4014B (mon) ∆11089-X
-jacket is very good, but does have a few creases (see pictures). -record excellent. A couple of very light scuffs too light to photograph. -bill of sale very good. -inner sleeve very good. About a 4" rip at bottom (see picture).
Record will be well packaged & sent Priority. I'll try to add signature confirmation when I purchase the shipping label. I can't seem to add that option until the item sells.
Record is in new rice paper sleeve and will be sent outside of the jacket so the jacket doesn't split during shipping. No returns.
