The Doors “The Doors Greatest Hits” Vinyl LP/Album 1980 Elektra Records.”. The Album Front Cover appears to be in very good condition, considering its age. There are several creases in the middle and upper left of the front cover. There is some very slight wear on the front cover on the top, bottom, spline and around the album opening area. The color vibrance of the front cover looks as good as when the album was new. The back cover has some creases along the right side and there are a couple of noticeable wear spots just to the left of Jim Morrison’s head and a spot at the top. Also, there is some very slight wear on the back cover around the outline of the vinyl.

This is the original inner sleeve that has pictures of all of The Doors albums on one side and the Lizard King himself, Jim Morrison, on the reverse side. The inner sleeve is in very good condition and there are small slits on the left and right sides and on the bottom, due to the vinyl penetrating the thin material.

As far as the actual condition of the vinyl it is very good, as there is only one light scratch on Side 1 and one scratch and what appears to be a fingerprint on Side 2. The time I remember playing it over 30 years ago, I don’t recall any issues with the playback or skipping of the needle. However, I am not making any guarantees, as I no longer have a turntable to test the playback of the album.
