Description
The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock band. It was released on the Elektra Records label in July 1969. The album reached #6 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart in the U.S. Three singles from the album “Tell All The People”, “ Wishful Sinful” and “Touch Me” which became another Top Ten hit for the band. The album was widely panned by critics and some Dan’s as selling out by trending into more popular music. The addition of horns and strings didn’t help this perception. Time has raised its status somewhat but most assess it as the bands weakest effort with frontman Jim Morrison. Nice gatefold copy on red labels from 1969 here.
