Description

The Extremely Rare Gold 1st Pressing of The Soft Parade is up for auction.  This album includes many songs written by Robby Krieger.  His song Touch Me was the break away hit from this album.  This album is definitely underrated, and it is a very solid LP from the Doors.  This particular album is the 1st pressing from 1969 on the gold label.  The matrix number on the dead wax is EKS 75005-B  AL  MMMD on side one.  Side two has EKS 75005-B  AL  LMLL etched on the dead wax.  The vinyl is in Very Good Plus Plus condition.  Both sides of the album have a few light paper scuffs and a few light hairline scratches.  This album should play brilliantly and it still contains all of it's original luster.  The LP labels are in great shape.  Side two of the LP label has a minor flaw that goes from the spindle hole to the edge of the label.  Please reference the last posted picture to see what I am talking about.  The LP label clearly came this way from the pressing factory.  This LP also comes with the original inner sleeve that contains all of the lyrics.  The inner sleeve is in super shape.  The album cover is in Very Good condition.  The album cover has a mild amount of ring wear.  The ring wear is slightly more noticeable on darker colored album covers, such as this one.  All four corners have some rounding and the bottom right corner has a very small crease.  The seams and spine have a fair amount of wear.  The top seam has the most wear.  The spine labeling is legible.  The Album cover does not have any splits.  The back of the album cover has some light horizontal scrapes near the center.  The front of the cover also has some light surface deterioration near the center.  The gatefold is in great shape and looks very nice.  The vinyl has been cleaned and is ready for playing or storage.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I do not ship outside of the United States.  I can combine shipping for multiple auction wins.  Bid with Confidence!
