Description
8541 of 12500. I purchased this set new and it has remained sealed since. Please note there is some wear to both of the hype stickers (occurred during shipping and they had no others to replace it with). Beyond that I only saw the slightest wear in the corners and numerically I score this box a 99. The vinyl itself is assumed to be mint as the set has remained sealed since it left the press.
Please also note that these set were notorious for causing splits to the tops some of the jackets during shipping. This is the second copy of this set that I own, the first I opened upon release and found splits in three of the albums (at the time of that purchase that vendor also didn’t have a replacement copy) and a little research into the issue revealed that it was prevalent among some of the early numbered sets which was allegedly fixed by the press with the later copies. I just wanted to reveal this story to anyone looking at this auction so there are no potentially unpleasant surprises if you plan on opening the set.
If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
