Waiting for the Sun MONO Lp EKL 4024

1967 into 1968! US record companies are fazing out Mono Lps. Every 60's group has a last Mono Lp thats hard to get. Elvis its "Speedway" The Beatles its "Magical Mystery Tour", The Stones its, "Satanic Majesties Request" and for The Doors its "Waiting for the Sun". It is the Hardest Doors Lp to get. I have never held one in my hands til I found this one on Saturday. "Hello, I Love You"was the Hit single, but the Lp also had the classics, "Five to One" and "The Unknown Soldier" A Great Lp. This books for $150 to $200 but I have seen it go for over $400 WOW!

Elektra Lp EKL 4024 UniPak Cover Printed in the USA, This is an American Lp! Canadian Lps have a different Label layout and are Not as rare! Cover has some seam splitting. Cover List Mono on the back cover. Record is of coarse the Gold Label with numerous scuffs and scratches. Record plays all the way though, does have some pops after "Hello, I Love You" but before the next song, "Love Street"and "Not to Touch the Earth"has a ship about half way through. Not in the best shape in the world but I listened to it and if you need it here it is...lol Good Luck.
