Description

Very presentable copy of The Doors’ classic 1968 album. This is a 1970’s reissue on the Elektra ‘butterfly’ label, still with A1/B1 matrices however. Interestingly the title track of this album wouldn’t turn up until 1970, when it strangely appeared on the band’s ‘Morrison Hotel’ album!

Sleeve Ex- Gatefold with the ‘Celebration Of The Lizard’ printed in full. Light wear and scuffing. There is a record company transitional sticker on the front cover – I wouldn’t recommend its removal!
 
Labels Ex+ Very clean. Light spindle traces only.

Inner VG Original plain white paper sleeve.

Record Visually Ex/Ex+, lovely shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light apart from some faint sleeve-removal scuffs on Side 1. The audio grades as VG+/Ex throughout, clear and detailed sound with minimal crackle. One or two random pops. A great listen, perhaps The Doors’ most consistent album.
