Description

 Rock At The Hop / She's Mine (Cupid 5003) - This is a rare original pressing of a roucous rock and roll two sider from Stoneham, Massachusetts. I've heard it was recorded in a gymnasium and it sure sounds like it!! Wild pounding piano, honking sax, shouting vocals and overall low fi sound make this one of the coolest records to ever come out of New England. They eventually morphed into The Satellites and released another great record on a major label, but nowhere as cool as this one.
The vinyl looks VG-, but it plays through with only a minor hint of noise. It's a thick and deep grooved pressing. The owner of this will be incredibly happy with the sound. The label looks great with only minor wear. A holy grail of New England rock and roll.
