Description

Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's beat/punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/Rolling Stones, etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.

Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

"THE BEST OF THE EASYBEATS – VOLUME 2”… sixth LP…Australian…original first press…1968…mono…Parlophone…black and yellow labels…(PMCO-7555)…flipback cover…only mono catalogue number on cover…condition: [cover first, then record]: VG+/VG-…has many marks…skips on 2 tracks...their rarest original 60’s LP…lots of non-LP singles and EP-only tracks…

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:  Yes, it is... (A MONO-ONLY RELEASE, and this was 1969!)...

 

Yep, mono original with flipback cover...twelve tracks, all originals...a mix of garage and psych...includes their versions of songs given to the likes of R. Black And The Rockin' V's, and The Valentines...
