The Eagles Hell Freezes Over "Original Press Geffen 1994"
Description:
This is a very rare first pressing of Hell Freezes Over on the original Geffen Label 1994, I have a couple of these and i am parting with this one that i bought new and played a few times on a very high end turntable and cartridge also it is kept clean with my own professional record cleaner. As you see there are several of these listed the REPRESS is the Simply Vinyl pressing which is not as musical as the Geffen, how do i know well if you had both pressings in front of you the deadwax area (the space where the grooves end and the center label) is much norrower than the SV press which means the Geffen grooves are fatter taking up more space hence the narrow deadwax.Also i own both copies and my ear says the Geffen wins hands down. The SV press is on 180g and the Geffen 140g, the original has both inner sleeves printed with pictures of the band the SV only has 1 sheet with linear notes.
