Description
Crazy rare Eagles item, this is Disc 1 of "Soul Pole #3", which was a collection of studio jokes, jams, and outtakes that Eagles producer Bill Szymczyk pressed and gave out to band members and family as Christmas gifts.... according to Discogs there were only 50 of these pressed.
Fair warning, some of the humor is quite risque as the boys in the band were well under the influence during some of this lol.
Apparently this is from the Hotel California sessions, the clip I played a sample from was a clip of them running through the song and singing joke lyrics. It was just included so you can get an idea of the content of the LP.
Other highlights include a band ping pong game, a recorded phone call about a guitar solo, assorted dirty jokes, various jams, etc.
Truly a unique piece of Eagles history, there are also a bunch of inside jokes etched onto the dead wax from Szymczyk.
The cover, which was a generic white sleeve with some typed notes, is not included.... the vinyl has some light marks and scuff, it was play tested from front to back and played with just some light crackle between VG and VG+.
The LP will ship with a new inner and outer cover, along with a generic cardboard sleeve.
