Plays without skips or stops and just an average amount of background noise for its 56 year vintage... Track 2.1 plays with slightly more background noise but in way over-powers the song. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record, none of which are feelable. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as VG & if you are after a copy with a great cover please do not buy this copy. I purchased this 30 years plus ago in its current condition. I found that although the cover had been through a lot it still presented nicely especially from the front. Cont'd from 'Condition' section of this listing... There is visible & serious edge/spine & corner-wear. There are many fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is ring wear to front & verso. There are colour losses to edges & spine as-well to front & rear cover faces. There are some areas of foxing to verso. Repaired seam splits to all edges & spine. Small tears all over the show. Very bad creasing to rear cover near spine. One blackened area near Parlophone EMI logos bottom rear cover. All edges & spine heavily taped. Strange golden mark to the front cover which I have no idea what it is nor how to remove it... maybe magical gold ;) Please see attached photos & message me Henry Butler with any queries
