Description

Hi Folks, continuing with my record clear out. We have for auction an original Kitchenware records The Editors "An End Has a Start". I bought this new in 2007 and it has been in a plastic sleeve since it's purchase so has very minimal distress. I've played this once to rip digitally, but mainly just to have in my collection (You know how it is). This copy has the original yellow plastic inner and the inside of the cover is black, very nice. Vinyl is a slab probably 180 gm. Couple of singles came off this album "smokers outside hospital doors", "The racing rats", "Push your head towards the air" and others. At the point this album was released people were still saying The Editors sounded like Joy Division. This is derision of the complexity within The Editors music and their brand of music. It's simply his voice. These are now a well established band and you only have to listen to their latest offering "The weight of your love" to hear they are established in their own right. No mention of Joy Division any more and never have should been. Letting this go under duress because I'm out of work pah!
