FLAT, LIKE PANCAKE..NOT WATER DAMAGED.....ITS FREEKIN NICE.
nOW, i HAVE BEEN ON E-BAY FOR A WHILE. tHIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH LPs...I have more.
but, it is CUT-THROAT and I am really tired of getting hustled. I have been lured into the "drop the price and I will buy it" thing once. Not again. fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice..shame on me. I might have been born yesterday, but it wasn't last night.
This is not a boot. I worked in used record stores.
Its an old record I got at a estate sale. That's what it is. The Lady liked jazz and r'n'b. She even liked some weird columbia house reggae stuff...wait till THAT go's up.
THIS IS not A RE-PRESS...UNLESS SOMEBODY FIGURED OUT A WAY TO "AGE" A FEDERATED PRICE STICKER...LIKE FROM THE 60'S

Hi,
Just came across your auction for the Eldorados LP and had a few questions. Does it appear to have any moisture damage under the celophane wrap? Does the item lay perfectly flat (sometimes if a record is exposed to heat it will warp even inside an LP cover), if the cover with the LP still inside lays perfectly flat including all 4 corners, it should be o.k. Most importantly, as there were 4 pressings of this LP produced while VeeJay was still in business, & although the LP is still sealed & I'm not asking you to open it, but is it possible to see any indication at all where the opening would be if there is a "rice-paper" (looks similar to crinkled wax paper) sleeve visible, white paper sleeve visible or a paper record sleeve with a red edge. If it's rice paper then it could be a 1st or 2nd pressing. White paper is 3rd or 4th pressing (or even a bootleg) i AM SORRY, NO ITS WAY TOO OLD. iT IS CLEARLY ANCIENT. and red edge paper is definitely a 4th pressing.
Thanks very much & good luck with your auction.
I really really appreciate KINDNESS.
dig, my E-bay handle: kinebee, as in KIND-BEE.

I am pretty much confused by all this, I just knew it was an old record. I looked at past sales and saw that It had sold for beaucoup.
So, as I said...got it from a dead old lady, looks unplayed. I hope the closeup of the label helps. I can't tell whats up with the sleeve..there BOTH paper and cellophane (rice paper) inside the album. I hope the label shot "settles" that.
I guess we''ll see.

ok, I got out of my lazy self..and with a bit of help from buyers ( thanks guys!!!)...this looks like its a 3rd or fourth pressing.
man, this is all too confusing......plus, its not like I can ask the lady, "whats up?"
There are BOTH paper (white,) and cellophane sleeves inside the jacket.....THAT'S CONFUSING.
BUT, HURRAH.....apparently VEE-JAY ( my real name BTW) CHANGED THE OUTSIDE LABEL MARKING ON THE 3RD PRESSING FROM SILVER TO RAINBOW.
I'M GOING TO GET SOME COFFEE NOW..
