Vinyl LP (Visually graded): Near Mint Condition. Under strong light only one faint hairline mark visible on side A and a couple visible on Side B. Overall, the vinyl looks glossy, pristine and unplayed. There are a couple of small white marks close to the hole on either side of the label (see photos) but the labels look clean and vibrant. Overall, a truly stunning example of this particular LP.
Cover: Excellent Plus Condition - only slight scuffing to the corners and slight creasing at Spine. Spine is strong and with no real rubbing, all writing is intact. DBX Stickers intact on front and rear and in great condition.
Inner Sleeve: Very Good Plus Condition - Very little discoloration, writing in pencil to one corner reads "NM US". One of the seams of sleeve has come away a little at one corner (see photo) but no seam splits. Comes with the original insert which describes the DBX process. This is in near mint condition.
I use the Record Collector's grading system (see below) giving separate condition ratings for the Vinyl, Cover and Inner Sleeve.My Item descriptions / ratings are based on visual inspection under strong light unless stated otherwise.
Near Mint (NM) - A nearly perfect record. Has more than likely been played few times or not at all, and the vinyl will show no imperfections during playback. Sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects. The same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Excellent(EX) -The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Sleeve may have slight wear or creasing
Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve, normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
Good(GD) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Sleeve suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
