Description

An original 1st press of 'Full House' on the UK Island label from 1970. Matrix A3/B3. Please note the heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured gatefold cover printed by E J Day. We also have an original generic white inner sleeve. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. As is blatantly obvious with this release many copies are going to struggle this almost fully folk rendition. You're going to need to stick to a copy that has only seen light use and has been looked after. By and large a beautiful rendition which allows you to almost fall into that marvellous string/guitar work. Excellent precision and clarity...this 1st press, I would imagine, is an easy winner for 'best audio'. On this copy interference is largely absence. The only track I detected any interference in was during 'Walk Awhile'. Expect the odd static crackle here and there - nothing persistent or vaguely invasive. Other than that expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in the final track. A very impressive rendition with very little to find fault with.
Cover (Ex-) As you can imagine these covers are tricky to find in top-level condition. But this example acquits itself admirably and looks very nice and clean with only the very lightest signs of ageing. I can't make out a single crease front and back. Surface wear looks to be pretty minimal too - just the slightest amount on the rear. The interior is immaculate - no issues at all. Edge wear is relatively light for this title and the spine almost entirely intact with just a couple of spots of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit of ageing and a couple of splits which have been taped up.
