The Fall, Live At The Witch Trials, Vinyl LP, 1978, A Step Forward Record,EX/EX. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.
My goodness! This was the beginning of a musical adventure of a lifetime! It all began here for Mark E Smith with the Falls legendary album Live At The Witch Trials in 1978.
What a brilliant title for an album! How did Mark allways nail it with these thought provoking titles. I was just thinking this last week when I was playing Cerebral Caustic, a much later album from the mid nineties.
This is a very rare opportunity to get this album in stunning condition. The vinyl is near mint, and is a highly desirable, collectable piece of punk history!
No other album sounds anything like it, it's totally unique, rebellious, and exciting!
Can I please take this opportunity to thank you for having a look at this record. If it pleases you, you may want to take a quick look at the other items I have for sale. I would appreciate it very much if you saved me as a favourite seller! this means that you will get details of all my great music deals direct to your phone or inbox, on all my future listings, a heads up if you will!
These records are from my own private collection, I have known most of them since they where babies, so I am in a good position to point out all of the good and not so good details!
I grade all my records as honesty as I can and I will point out all the little details that I think you, as a collector needs to know.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words! I upload loads of pictures for your consideration. I do not use stock photos, so please look at all pictures carefully! Use the zoom magnifer provided by eBay. What you see in the picture is exactly what you are buying, if you see something that you do not like, please do not buy! I do not want to share the pain of your disappointment!
I normally reply to polite messages, offers and enquiries quite quickly, but in most cases the pictures and my listed info, should tell you everything you need to know.
I use the Record Collecting Grading system for all my vinyl, I will not cut and paste this here, as you can goggle this very easily, instead I will explain sone misunderstandings, that arise from time to time.
Grade Excellent does not mean, New, or like New, this would be graded as mint. Grade Excellent is a record that has been well looked after and stored by a conscientious collector and shows evidence of being played. Please let me explain, I have Rolling Stones albums from the 1960s, many of these are well over 50 years old and would be graded as excellent, on the other hand I have a new Happy Mondays album, that is totally mashed up and can never be graded as excellent. It can now only be used as what we call a collection filler!
Grade Very Good means reasonable wear or tear considering the age of the record or cover.
If you are buying anything below grade VG, please have no expectations! The price should reflect the grade. I would only buy grade Good or below if I could not afford VG or Excellent. As an example, I am looking out for The Smashing Pumpkins album, Melon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, it costs a fortune in decent condition, however I would consider buying it as grade Good, if it ever becomes available.
If you see a few Records that you like, I will be very happy to combine postage for you. This is quite a cost effective way of collecting, you can buy 2 or 3 albums and the postage will be the same. If you click on Buy It Now, that will reserve your music! If you pay I will refund you, postage for a few albums should only be 4.10 pounds for a few records. If you do not pay, I will send you over an invoice with the adjusted postage costs, same as above.
All my Records will be cleaned and ready for your turntable. All records will be enclosed in a clear protective outer cover.
I wish you all the best with your collecting, vinyl is one of the worlds greatest resources, I salute your good taste and look forward to doing business with you in the very near future.
The added bonus is that you are investing and not spending. Quality vinyl, by well loved artists and genres like punk, metal, blues, soul, jazz, reggae etc, can only appreciate in value. I have given up now on savings, due to near zero interest rates, and I now put most of my spare cash into vinyl. I congratulate you on doing the same!
Happy Collecting!
