Description
Being offered is the Cherry Red reissue of Room to Live which came out in 2019. The vinyl is coloured and whilst it is supposed to look like marble it actually looks more like the colour of old furniture. Disc I is the album and Disc 2 is a collection of live recordings.
I bought this new and can't have played it more than three times including for the purpose of this listing. As it has retained most of the shrink wrap it is as good as the day I bought it. Unfortunately it came with a slight scratch on disc 2, see photo 16. So you will have to put up with three slight clicks when you listen to the live version of "Joker Hysterical Face" recorded at Derby.
However to sugar the pill I am also including a signed paperback first edition of Paul Hanley's magnificent " Have a Bleedin Guess" the story of Hex Enduction Hour and published by Route in 2020. I bought this new , have read it very carefully and it has no faults.
If you have not read this book do, Paul Hanley writes very well, and often amusingly of how Hex was produced. Unusually he has no scores to settle and he reveals how through a combination of musicianship reaching heights of brilliancy and ineptitude, sabotage, genius, luck and inspiration the Fall's masterwork was miraculously produced.
Please note that the free postage offered is for the UK only.
