The Fall
Victoria 7" limited edition numbered box set
Beggars Banquet Records BEG 206B (1988)
(NM/M) The sleeve and inserts are in as close to perfect condition as you could wish for. The record itself is unplayed. The box is as new, with just some fingerprints on the printed front cover. The inserts are also as new, with the lyrics sheets being slightly warped as they were cut slightly too big for the box. I assume this is the same in all copies of this release. The record has never been played, so is in as-new condition. I’ve never even taken it out of its sleeve.
Ah, The Fall went very gimmicky at the end of the 80s. Probably Beggars Banquet trying to capitalised on the band’s new-found popularity. Anyway, here we have a limited-edition box set of this single, with three lyrics cards and replica Victoria Cross, that apparently MES intended to be a lurid lime green, but ended up the more conventional gold.
This copy is number 1216.
I usually clean records carefully on a Knosti Disco Anti-Stat record cleaning machine before dispatch. As this record is unplayed, however, I’m not planning to clean it. Please let me know if you would like me to clean it for you.
If you want any more information or photos, please ask! I’ll be happy to help.
