Description

Is this the rarest book in the known universe? I can’t even find a reference to it on Google – try it for yourself if you don’t believe me. I can only guess that it was a short run publication given away free with selected Island albums in 1971. I would also guess that most owners would have eventually thrown their copies away because of a fault in the printing process. The book was perfect bound using lousy glue and then, to compound the error, they put a flick page cartoon on the bottom right hand pages. I ask you, what is going to make the pages fall out quicker than that? Luckily this book has been locked away in trunk for the past 35 or so years. All the pages are there in perfect condition, but they are ready to drop out – so the new owner will have to treat it with utmost respect or be prepared to re-glue the pages back in; not a very arduous task as it’s only 4” by 3”.

Mini-Book Format 4" x 3"

There are 7 pages of intro then it’s straight into the album section. Each page has a full colour picture of the album cover, the name of the artist, title of the album, track listing and serial number. No more, no less. Then there’s a few pages on Singles, Cassettes and Cartridges (yes, 8-track cartridges) Here’s what’s in the Album section:
