Description

       Now fully retired I find myself quite busy with listing items here on eBay for a growing number of clients.  All are from the days I spent working in the music industry, but not all the items I list have a background in music.  Each day I’ll list four or five items from different people, but I decided that today I would list a half dozen vintage 45 records from the same seller just because they are so rare and if you are into collectable singles from the sixties all should be of some interest to you.  For a no reserve auction we have what appears to be a never played copy of The Five Discs, 1962 Cheer Records release “Never Let You Go” 2:15 b/w “That Was The Time” 2:25, catalogue # 1000.  Vinyl has a high gloss surface and appears to have never been played or even removed from its paper sleeve.  Here is an interesting aside about that sleeve.  I don’t know if it was the original sleeve however the group was from New York, the label was from New York and the colorful paper sleeve says “A Joy Records Copra ration.
