Description
What a great find for record collectors!
This is the Doo-Wop hit "Cross Over the Bridge" and "Listen to My Plea" by The Flamingos with the Red Holloway Orchestra on the Chance blue and silver record label from 1954. This I am told was the last year for this record company label from Chicago, Illinois. This Chance #1154 is an original with the dead wax numbers of 45-5133 87 and 45-5132 87.
This 45 rpm record is in Very Good+, if not mint, condition. The label is clean and clear and there are no scuffs or scratches that I can see. According to the 2005 Goldmine Price Guide, Near Mint price is $1000.
This record comes complete with the brown paper sleeve and a plastic envelope cover.
I am selling this for a client and I have no personal knowledge of collectible records. I have done research on the subject and the descriptions are true to the best of my ability.
