The Flying Machine, Down To Earth With The Flying Machine, Orig UK PYE LP, VG/VG+, A-1 Matrix, 1st Press!!
Original rough blue Pye label UK LP. The unlaminated cover is in very good condition, with some rubbing around the corners & edges, with some storage wear & creasing on the outer cover (see pics). The spine is intact, but no longer readable. The plain inner is intact and in very good+ condition (see pics).
The record is in visually very good+ condition, with some evidence of being played visible under normal light. Under bright light quite a few light sleeve removal marks and a few needle scuffs are visible. The labels are clean and bright with evidence of quite a few spindle markings, overall the record still retains much of its original sheen and looks good!!
The sound reproduction is still very good, clear & vibrant throughout, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some background noise on the run in grooves and in some of the quieter passages, overall it plays much better than it looks!!! The matrix nos. are NSPL-18328, A-1-H mother stampers E-1, B-1-H mother stampers C-1. This is one of the earliest pressings of the original UK stereo 1st issue of this album!! All grades are as per the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Postage is £3.25 for the 1st single lp and £4.00 per double LP + £1 per extra single LP, £2.00 per extra double LP.
