Description
Hey all, this is the "holy grail" of memorabilia for fans of The Fray! You are looking at a genuine platinum (*1 million copies sold!) record award for The Fray's best selling album, "How to Save a Life." The award was issued to musician Zach Dawes, but I am uncertain if he had any role in the music or production of the album. I purchased this award privately and then got the guys to sign it at the Iowa State Fair on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the grandstand where I was doing security. I brought the award to the show in hopes of getting it signed and, conveniently, had an unplanned conversation with the band manager after the show. She was very accommodating and graciously took the award back to the band before their after-show commitments. The record award is used, but it is in very good condition and extremely rare. In addition to being signed by Isaac, Joe, Dave, and Ben, one of the guys did some custom artwork on the plexiglass, including a heart, star, smiley face, and peace sign at the bottom of the award.
The framed dimensions are: Width -17" Height - 21" Depth - 1 1/4"
I will ship the award for FREE! Best of luck and let me know if you have any questions BEFORE you bid!
