Description

An original very 1st press of TFS on the UK Island label. Matrix A/B - L. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover numbered 000657. We also have both bespoke inner sleeves. So, we're 100% complete and 100% genuine. We'll ship with black poly-lined inners for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - absolutely nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with slight deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. It doesn't mater whether it's the upbeat rocker or low-key blues acoustic numbers this copy will deliver the goods. Fussy tracks like 'Mr Big' - play superb...And it does it with finesse! You might detect a few crackles in one spot per side. I picked out a few crackles in 'Come Together', and a touch of light background in 'Where I Belong' - but nothing standout. It's a fantastic rendition and there's very little to pick fault with here. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Is looking pretty well preserved. This title can turn up looking pretty battered. But someone's looked after it very carefully. Nice deep blacks with only low-level handling observable. There's no sign of ageing anywhere - which is nice. The interior looks great. The internal pages are still intact and just about attached to the staples. Bit of edge wear to the pages - but I'd say they must be looking better than many examples. Edge wear is pretty light for this title. The spine is 100% intact - a bit of a marvel I'd say. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Both inners have a two inch side split. Otherwise they're look all good!
