Description
Both sides play strong VG to MOSTLY VG+ with minor random surface "static", no loud pops, a few sections with random clicks.
The surface noise is not intrusive, but the music and recording are "quiet", so it's there.
This mono sound mix is GREAT with crisp highs.
Both labels have light spindle-marks.
The machine-stamped matrix numbers have 3A and 2A suffixes and are in the description, and in the photos, as well as the P stamp, meaning the Pitman pressing plant.
Edges are worn with a short seam-split on the top right and a 1.5 inch bottom right split.
Top left seam is split and frayed almost 3 inches.
Spine has missing lamination and wear at the corners, see photos.
Front & back have light shelfwear and heavy yellowing, but none of the lamination or printing is actually worn away.
Great easy-to-read liner notes by the late Nat Hentoff.
An early Columbia inner-sleeve is included, but I'm not sure it's the correct sleeve for this release.
