Description
An early monaural pressing of the iconic Bob Dylan album CBS 62193 from 1963 I believe this could be a first pressing, but I am not a dealer or collector so cannot say for certain, please read the following description and study the photos so you can make up your own mind.
The heavyweight front laminated 3 flipback sleeve is still in very good condition for the age, with no scuffs, deterioration of the laminate, creasing or writing. The spine is rigid and fully legible with BPG62193. The rear is plain with no lamination and is slightly yellowed from age and wear but perfectly readable with no scuffs or tears, and with no mention of stereo compatibility which shows it is an early mono pressing
The vinyl is glossy and bright, not perfect as it has been well played down the years but generally well looked after. There are some light scratches but nothing major with no fingerprints/ blemishes or warps and it is still a very playable item. The centre label is 'rough' orange CBS with Made in England round perimeter and speed indicator of 33 (not 33 1/3) There is no STEREO logo. The matrix number printed on the label and the inner vinyl run-out area is BPG-62193 1L and BPG-62193 2L
The inner sleeve is plain white with slight creasing and yellowing from age but no tears or writing
