The GTO's 'Permanent Damage' Orig LP 1969 Zappa Straight Records
This oddball album was the brainchild of Frank Zappa for his new Straight Records imprint in 1969. It features the famous 'Groupies' from the Rolling Stone piece (including 'Miss Pamela' DesBarres) performing a mixture of humorous songs and spoken pieces with help from stars like Davy Jones and Jeff Beck, and it's produced by Zappa.
This copy is complete with the original Straight Records inner sleeve and 12-page booklet with b&w photos and lyrics.
Condition overall is G+:
The cover is F-G; some significant corner dents and ring wear front & back, and the beginning of a split at the top seam (see photo). Inner gatefold is clean.
The LP is VG; no spindle marks or damage of any kind. Played only a few times.
The inner sleeve is F; it is intact but all 3 of the seams have split a few inches.
The booklet is VG; minor wear but no damage of any kind.
