 Up for auction is a record album The George Jones Story.  This is a 2 record set by Starday, Stereo SLP 8-366.  It has 30 recordings.  The set also includes the 8x10 souvenir color photo.  I do not know how to grade records so I will try to describe the album in as much detail as possible.  The front of the album is in great shape.  There is some foxing along the edges, more along the right edge (see picture #10).  Otherwise the colors are sharp and bright and there are no rips or tears and you cannot see any record imprint wear. The back cover does have some scuff marks from the record imprint in the middle of the cover but it is not bad (see picture #7).  There is also some scuffing along the right side from record imprint wear(see picture 8 & 9). Other than some minimal amount of foxing along the right edge, the back cover is also bright and sharp. The inside of the album has some foxing along the edges (see pictures 4 & 5).  Otherwise it is perfect.  The records themselves are very clean with no scratches, looks like they have had very minimal play if any.  The sleeves are original and have foxing along the opening edges and the corner of one is wrinkled and the top edge of the other one is frayed.  The 8 x 10 photo is in great shape with only a minor 1/4 " flaw at the top edge, probably in the printing and a small "bump" or "crease" down by his left hand.  The camera picks it up much more than the eye does (see picture 3).  There are no finger prints that you can see on the photo.
All in all this album is a great addition to any country record collection or George Jones collection.
