Description

This 2 track 7" single ' People Say ' by The Go - Betweens is a late 1970s Australian pressing on the Able label.  The B-side track is Don't Let Him Come Back.

Coming from Brisbane , Australia , the Go-Betweens were perhaps the quintessential cult band of the 80s.  This is their 2nd single.

The record itself has been very well cared for and its vinyl still has a nice high gloss.  It is graded VG++.  The picture sleeve is also in great condition with only some very slight wear marks on the back cover and would also be graded VG++.

Important Notes About Our Record Grading

It is our number one priority. We grade accurately, honestly and conservatively. We want our customers to be pleased when they receive our records. We are just as discerning when selling records as we are when buying. Buy with confidence as all our records are FULLY GUARANTEED (although we rarely get "returns"). We believe that a (VG) condition record should mean "Very Good", as it was originally designed to, not "Very Bad"! All cover and vinyl problems (e.g. seam splits, writing, warps, etc.) are noted in addition to the grade. We believe that by listing the "defects" and grading honestly, the collector will be able to visualize the condition of the record before bidding. We hope this eliminates any "surprises" for the buyer. We visually grade all items carefully under very bright light. Whether the record is worth $50 or $50,000; whether it was issued in the 1950s or the 1990s, they all receive equal scrutiny.

Mint. – Perfect, flawless. We rarely, if ever, use this grade.

M- or NRMT (Mint Minus or Near Mint) – Usually our highest grade. Records from the 1950s & 60s in this condition are truly rare.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) – Beautiful collectible condition. Many of our VG++ items would grade M- elsewhere.

VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Great condition. Well cared for.

VG (Very Good) – Still good condition, but more wear than VG+.

VG- (Very Good Minus) - Generally not collectible condition, unless it's a super rare record.

G (Good) – Lots of wear, but still playable.

WBR (Wrecked But Rare) – Otherwise known as a "Starter Copy". Not cracked, but a starter copy.
