The Gods 'Featuring Ken Hensley' LP 1976 Late 60's Groovy Heaviness Uriah Heep

Description

A solid collection of The Gods  late 60's output in strong EX/EX.
Cover does show light creases and slight ringwear, perhaps closer to VG++. Vinyl is clean, bright, and kicks ass man! A very overlooked heavy psychrock precursor to the mega Uriah Heep legacy, full of loud acid guitars, thick Hammond organ, and Ken Hensley's fantastic vocal range. Drummer Lee Kerslake delivers a powerhouse backbeat here, years before his awesome performances with Uriah Heep and getting screwed over by Sharon Osbourne. The Gods also issued a rare LP as Head Machine 'Orgasm', one of the loudest, aggressive albums of 1970, which unfortunately feature no tracks here.
