Here's one of 3 different original Golliwogs 45s on the Scorpio label that I'll be listing over the next couple of days.This is an original pressing 45 released in March of 1966 by The Golliwogs.The Golliwogs as most know is actually Creedence Clearwater Revival before they changed their name.This is a Promo 45 that is on Scorpio label # 405.Songs titled Fragile Child on one side with the song Fight Fire on the other side.The Fragile Child side has lots of very light to light scratches which many look to be caused by rubbing of scuffing.There very light to light very fine lines.Also has 10 scratches that are feelable with fingernail.Also has scuffing with 1 deep scuff near the 5 O Clock Area of record that is feelable with fingernail.It can be seen in the pictures I have taken that show the grooves.Also has groove wear with some graying on the grooves.The Fight Fire side of record also has several fine very light to light scratches which also most look to have been caused by rubbing of scuffing.Also has 10 scratches feelable with fingernail.Side has lots of fine scuffing lines and also has groove wear with some graying on the grooves.If you look extremely closely near right side of label there is a very light rectangle shaped area that is cleaner than rest of label.Probably had a sticker there at one time but fell off.Very clean area with no glue residue at all.Its just a slightly different shade of yellow Please see picture.I've taken a picture of the grooves which I tried to show the scratches.I play tested both sides of record and they played as follows.The Fight Fire side of record plays with some ticks about the first 10 seconds.Then about 1/3rd of the way through song a pop is heard.The rest of song plays well in which I didn't hear any background noise until song is over and then there is 5 crackle sounds before needle lifts off.The Fragile Child side has 12 to 14 tick sounds and 3 light pops through first 1/3rd of song.Then plays nicely with no background noise the last 2/3rds of song until after song is over at very end before needle lifts off.I heard no skips while playing.When turntable was spinning I did notice a small warp only and definitely will not affect play as it's small only.Please check my other Golliwogs 45s out if you like.Also if buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.
