Description

Robbie Basho (1940-86) was one of the influential solo guitarists appearing on the Takoma label during that legendary period of the 1960s, along with John Fahey and Leo Kottke. He used steel strings, hoping to turn the guitar into a concert instrument, his original compositions inspired by Eastern musics. He died in a bizarre accident; his chiropracter accidentally killed him. There was somewhat of a revival of interest in his music in the 21st century, but most of his albums seem to be out of print. This is an original edition; I pay postage.
