The Guess Who Live at the Paramount Original 1972 Canadian first Pressing on the Nimbus 9 Records label (exclusive to Canada), Gatefold cover and inner sleeve with lyrics and band photo.1972 original Canadian first pressing pressing on the Nimbus 9 label. Fairly clean copy. No writing on cover or labels. Cover VG+ (Very Good Plus) with some ring wear front and back. Gatefold cover (folds open). Includes original inner sleeve featuring album lyrics and a photo of the band. Labels are super clean. Record is VG+ with some paper scuffs. Plays with some occasional crackle mostly between tracks and during quieter passages.
I am including FREE a clear outer protective sleeve and a poly-lined inner sleeve to keep your album in great shape. An excellent album to add to your Vinyl record collection!
Live at the Paramount was released in 1972. It was recorded on May 22, 1972 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. Live at the Paramount was the first Guess Who album to feature Donnie McDougall on rhythm guitar and the last to feature original bassist Jim Kale. It also includes performances of three exclusive songs not included on any of their studio albums: "Glace Bay Blues," "Runnin' Back To Saskatoon” and "Truckin' Off Across the Sky."
The album reached #39 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States. This was the group's only live album until the 'classic lineup' reunion in 1983 (resulting in the album Together Again, released the following year).
