In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! Very hard to find...seldom see this original '69 pressing ... it's a THICK gatefold cover on Zappa's "Straight Records' label featuring a way-cool underground sounds fuzzrock jammer with Jeff Simmons ripping up the fretboard.
Original release on Frank Zappa's legendary Straight label in 1969 as the soundtrack to Naked Angels, an obscure B-movie biker flick. This hard-rocking collection was the first release from future Zappa sideman Jeff Simmons. Largely an essential collectible, it showcases Jeff Simmons superb guitar skills to memorable effect, and will delight collectors of rare soundtracks, biker rock fans and Zappa fans alike. Garagey psych-rock on hyper-drive with organ squeals and most of all, a big fat-rock fuzz guitar at the forefront.
...And you thought Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up was obscure. Before briefly becoming the bassist for The Mothers of Invention, Jeff Simmons co-wrote and recorded the soundtrack for Naked Angels, a low budget 1969 Roger Corman produced biker-gang movie.
The music, a frenzy of fuzz guitar jamming and a touch of psychedelically surf rock, fills the bill, and then some. “Bar Dream” even employs some of Zappa’s patented tape manipulation. Simmons’ legend was cemented when Frank produced and performed on Jeff’s 1970 LP, Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up . He was probably best known for bailing out of a starring role in (and being replaced by Ringo Starr’s chauffeur just prior to filming) Zappa’s 200 Motels.
