Description

This is a complete box set, numbered 2,083 of a limited edition of 3,000 sets. Purchased new when originally issued (1995). Played on high end equipment and stored carefully in a smoke-free home. All 12 LPs are in NM condition. So is the 35-page LP-size booklet. Individual LP sleeves are also NM. The sleeve is rated EX only due to minor scuffing on the outer box. The box is intact, but the corners are a little scuffed. The front and back artwork on the box are in great shape.
Please note that the detailed info track description does not apply to the LP edition. Each LP in this set is like the original issue, the "bonus" material was also issued later as LPs (The Coltrane Legacy and Alternate Takes), and the outtakes are included as a double LP set. This comprises all of Coltrane's Atlantic material as leader or co-leader. As expected, the sonics on the LPs are superior to the CDs.
