Description

This is The Hobbits' Down to Middle Earth album DL 74920 Stereo Decca Record from 1967.

Any Similarity to the J. R. R. Tolkien trilogy ends with the title. 

This is 1960's vintage music with Daffodil Days rivaling anything Tiny Tim ever did for silly weird.

We have heard that one of the musicians on this album made a successful Bumble Bee Tuna commercial some time after this album but we have no proof. 

If you are into the early sixties maybe before the aesthetic of the flower child was well understood in Long Island, NY, this is for you.

The record plays well with no skips with a few vinyl snaps and pops. 

The exterior cover has surface wear heavy at the edges but holding together without splits. 

The original interior sleeve is there with some edge splits but nice suface condition. 

The pictures are of the actual album that we are selling. 

Great period piece but rare for a reason!
