Description
Artist: The Hobbits Title: Men and Doors: The Hobbits Communicate Label/Number: Decca DL-5009 (M) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: M- Notes: The cover is in nice condition with some light ring wear and some minor seam and corner wear detracting a bit. There is also a small "bb" hole in the upper left corner and the original owners, "Jim and Cath", wrote their names on the upper right corner of the front cover. The front cover photo and graphics still look good as do the photo, notes and title listings on the back. The labels are in nice shape with no defects of note. The vinyl is bright and glossy with just a couple of very light scuffs indicating that it may have been played once or twice. As a small, added bonus the record is still contained in its original inner sleeve that features photos of a number of the LP's in the then current Decca catalog. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. If you're worried about grading, however, please check my feedback and put your mind at ease.
