Description

A QUICK MESSAGE TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS , I AM NOW BACK WITH A GREAT SELECTION OF MANY VERY RARE RECORDS AND OBVIOUSLY MY USUAL AND OTHER VERY COLLECTABLE 7" AND LP RECORDS AND COLLECTABLES WHICH ARE FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION WHICH I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO COMPLETELY SELL OFF , I HAVE LOTS OF FANTASTIC RECORDS TO LIST SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON MY LISTINGS , MANY THANKS .

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF MY 7" AND 12" VINYL RECORDS ARE PRO CLEANED ON MY PROJECT VACUUM CLEANING MACHINE , THANK YOU .

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH ON BOTH SIDES AND INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS ETC THANK YOU .

Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Postage prices shown are for the UK . All items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 post using Ebays Simple Delivery , unless otherwise stated in the listing . Sorry but I never use any couriers , this includes any prearranged couriers . Please note that I always obtain proper proof of postage when I post any items .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ITEMS WHICH END OR HAVE A PAYMENT CLEARED ON A THURS , FRI OR SAT WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEXT MONDAY AS I NOW ONLY POST ON MON , TUES AND WEDS , FEEDBACK WILL BE LEFT AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FEEDBACK , THANK YOU .

The Hollies Butterfly LP Orig UK Stereo 1967 Psych Pro Cleaned Very Decent Copy . On UK Parlophone black and yellow with silver print paper labels PCS 7039 . Please see photos for track listings .

COVER: Factory single card cover generally in a very strong between very good and near excellent condition , though i think some may say airing a little closer to the near excellent side overall . A very very few extremely light and small general age related / surface / handling marks in places on the rear , mainly just some overall but light grubiness on the white and a light bit of foxing etc mainly near the opening edge on the rear , the flipbacks are all intact with just a bit of usual but light grubiness on the very outer edges and a couple of extremely tiny knicks again on the outer edges , there are a few usual laminate creases in places also on the flipbacks . The front is still nice and glossy with just two or three very faint line marks on the laminate but really only seen at certain angles to the light , really barely worth a mention . The usual but very light only ring wear marks are present mainly on the front , but as i say very light only , there are some often seen arch shaped laminate crease lines mainly towards the opening edge , i have shown some in the photos but i couldn't get all of them to show up , there are about nine in total but most are quite small . Some normal useage / age related wear on the side opening edges , still overall nice and straight but there is some feathering and denting present on the very outer face edges though nothing overly nasty , there are some usual but very very small bits of fraying / rubbing etc on and just near to the corners , but this is mostly just on the tip ends , there are no really obvious signs of rubbing on the top and bottom edges , there are some usual laminate crease lines in places round the edges , the spine is very nice and fully legible , there is just the odd usual tiny and very light laminate crack line and the odd very very light and small bit of denting on the spine , the cover is writing free .

INNER SLEEVE: EMI Patents Applied For album advertising paper inner sleeve generally in good overall condition , there is some age related foxing etc present and some denting and creasing , there is also some rippling mainly on and just below the top opening edge on one side , there are some what appear to be glue spot residue marks on each of the bottom corners , there is some normal useage wear on the top opening edges and the usual but generally light ring wear marks . I can't confirm if this is the original inner but it appears to be from around the same sort of time period , it is writing free and there are no seam splits . I will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve .

LABELS: Black and yellow with silver print paper labels generally in a very very strong near excellent condition , though i think most would say closer to the excellent side overall , both are still very nice and clean with just a few usual but light only spindle marks , both labels are writing free.

RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very very very strong very good condition , but i and i think a lot would say between very good and near excellent overall , but i think certainly a lot better than very good , there are just three or four small very very light non feelable non sounding possibly manufacturing smudge type marks in places but these really are very light and as i say may actually be within the vinyl itself , there are just a few usual but just whispy type hairlines and sleeve removals and just a very few slightly more visible but still light only hairlines, there are no nasty gouges / nasty deep scratches whatsoever , i will also say that pretty much most of the finer whispy hairlines and actually some of the other very few slightly more visible but still light only other fine hairlines are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . Please see below for audio description .

AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It plays excellent overall , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little at all in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there was just the very very very occasional faint bit of mostly very brief static type noise on the odd quieter part , mainly being a very faint bit on the quieter intro and same quieter part right at the end of T1 , one light pop as the music starts on T2 , a very very occasional very very brief bit of very very faint static type noise on T3 and T4 , though these( T3 and T4 ) really are hardly worth a mention and barely heard , there were a couple of light pops right at the end of T4 as it goes onto the track changeover line , there was no nasty crackle and bar the odd light pop as mentioned there were no nasty loud ticks , there was some usual occasional light only noise / light pop on the odd silent track changeover line , but most were quiet overall , there may just have been the odd faint isolated pop that i may have missed . I actually think i'm being a bit picky with most of this considering the age of this record , but i must also stress that any of this ( and there really isn't a great deal at at all ) was really light or very very faint and certainly didn't spoil any enjoyment whatsoever , i just do like to be thorough but can sometimes go a little OTT with noise etc . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally quite light noise with odd light tick / pop one or two may have gone onto the intro straight after the run in but these couple being very very light only . It also plays pretty much excellent overall , again beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little at all in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , more just the odd light tick / pop , any noise was really very very very occasional , ( probably just in three or four places ) , very very brief indeed and extremely light only , most being barely heard , tick / pop wise i just heard three or four then a very slight gap then a couple of light ticks at the start of i think T3 , a couple of lightish ticks at the start of T6 then four or five i think lighter ones art the end of T6 , i say think as i miscounted on the number of tracks or left one out as i was writing the details down so T3 may be T4 if you see what i mean , i must stress that none of these were overly loud at all with most just being very light indeed , there was no nasty crackle present , there was some usual occasional light only noise / light pop on the odd silent track changeover line , but most were quite quiet overall ( certainly nothing loud ) , there may just have been the odd faint / very light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** I hope i haven't made this out to be bad in any way , yes there is the odd light tick / pop in places mainly on S2 and some very very very occasional bit of mostly very faint and very brief only noise in the odd place only , but as i say on the whole it plays and certainly sounds great and is still a very nice example ! ** .

There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a very nice shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

All in all a nice example of this now very collectable item . I have started this one off at a keen £24.99p , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no deterioration in sound quality . Some brief bits of very light noise and very occasional usual light pop maybe present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played , but there is very little lessening in sound quality , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail. Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
