Description

An original 1st mono press of HG on the Parlophone label from 1968. Matrix 1/1 - 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emi advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side- nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A clean mono playing copy - what's not to like? All I could detect were a few minor crackle in a couple of spots per side [e.g. in Carousel]. Minor and absolutely nothing to worry about. A really rather impressive rendition from this 60's original copy.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely clean and shiny front with only a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear has avoided much of the usual ageing often found on this title. Flipbacks are all secure and intact. Edge wear is minor and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightest ageing. And a one inch side split.
