Description

An original 1st press of GREATEST on the UK Parlophone label from 1968. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1-AD/2RA. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emi sepia toned advertising inner sleeve. So 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely superb copy and has only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks and one just getting feelable - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Hard to imagine bettering this copy it is borderline faultless. The audio purity is absolutely top-level and showcases the Hollies' work in full-effect. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments, and two ticks in the intro to 'Just One Look' - you have to concentrate to make it out.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with just a couple of light creases. The rear seems to have pretty much escaped the ageing process. All flipbacks are intact and secure. Edge wear is super-light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Minimal ageing and no splits or markings.
