OK! Here is something for the serious psych collector. This is The Human Beast Volume One from 1970 on UK Decca (SKL.5053) (matrix nr's: xzal-9755.p-1w and xzal-9754.p-1w) . One of the most sought after heavy psychedelic records coming out of Great Britain. And this copy - the only one I have ever owned - is in beautiful collectable condition.

First the cover. The laminated front is really gorgious with sharp colours and minimal wear. On close inspection I see only tiny creases along the edges, but they are small and common on these covers. The corners have very little wear - but laminate is missing from the very tip of the upper and lower left corners. Again, hardly noticable. On the top seam a tiny piece of laminate is missing. We are talking about 1/2" on the very top of seam. Also hardly noticable. The spine is beautiful. The photos show a cover with minimal wear for its age. A very solid VG++ according to my grading scale. See below.

The Decca stereo inner sleeve has no issues and I would grade this as VG++ as well.

The vinyl retains most of its original gloss. There are on each side a few hairlines and superficial scuffs. Playback on my Heybrook TT2 turntable with Grado headphones doesn't detect any audible effects of these. The playback is really great. It plays loud and clear. In my possesion I have played it 2-3 times at most. The labels have spindlemarks, but NOT in a degree or amount that would suggest very much play. Playback grading would be NM,  but I would grade this VG+(+) to be on the safe side.

Good luck bidding. No reserve!

Please look a my other auctions. And keep looking throughout 2009. Coming listings will include more rare prog, psych, soul, and rare 45's as well.

Payment: Paypal. Other payment possible. Inquire before you bid, please.

Please wait with payment until you are invoiced.

 Shipping is as follows:

LP (12”, 10"): Airmail is $11 in Europe and $15 elsewhere.

2-3 LPs: Airmail is $16 in Europe and $24 elsewhere. Registered airmail is $13 EXTRA. I will of course combine shipping.

Due to the value of the dollar against the Danish krone shipping might seem a little high - it is not and I will regulate prices if the Dollar gains in strength.

Buyers, Please Note! You must either pay for insurance, registered mail, or some form of tracking or assume full responsibility for any damage to or loss of your items in the hands of the postal service. Insuring high priced items is highly recommended, if you choose not to register or insure them I am not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur after shipment. If such a situation arises I will happily provide shipping receipts. By bidding on my items you agree to these terms.

I ship in sturdy record mailers with cardboard reinforcement. Records outside sleeve to prevent seams splitting - all in poly outer sleeve.

I've been a record collector for 25 years by now. I will begin thinning out my collection throughout 2009. These records are all from my personal collection. I like to take good care of them, but I also know as a collector that grading them differs from seller to seller. I grade conservatively and if you are not satisfied with item I offer full refund - except shipping.

Grading.

SS: Still Sealed. As the day it left the factory. Please note that most non-US pressings did not come in a sealed condition.

NM : Near Mint. A nearly perfect record/sleeve. This is the highest grade for a record. I do not use the grade mint, as I don't believe such a record exist.

VG++: Almost as perfect as new, but with some minor flaws.

VG+: Record/Sleeve show some signs of having been played, but is still in excellent condition.

VG: Let's face it, this record has seen better days, but is still in playable condition, all be it with some surface noise etc.

VG-: This record will show quite some wear, and is not in a very good condition.

G: Good. could be used as a frisbee, or in some cases, it could carry you over until a better copy is found.
