Description
- Very hard to find stereo original copy of the jazz based Original Soundtrack LP for the 1961 movie "The Hustler" (Kapp KS 3264) with music by Kenyon Hopkins.
- This LP features a killer lineup of jazz musicians including Phil Woods, Jerome Richardson, Jimmy Cleveland, Hank Jones, Milt Hinton, Osie Johnson, Barry Galbraith and several other top session musicians.
- The tracklist is: Main Title/Minnesota Fats/The Loser/Sarah’s Theme/4 Flights Up/Fast Buck/Small Time Charlie/Bert’s Theme/Contract With Depravity/All Thumbs/Dining Out/Derby Time/Lipstick On A Mirror/The Winner/End title.
- The glossy LP plays crisp and clear. There are some sleeve scuffs and several light scratches that give some surface noise and "tics" but nothing overwhelming. The front and back cover show just some light wear. The spine is near mint with clear printing. The top and bottom seams have small (2") splits repaired with acid-free archival clear tape.
