The Iveys MAYBE TOMORROW Vinyl LP
I am the original owner. I have played this TWICE. All records I list have been PLAY GRADED...not just 'eyeballed/visually graded.' I am fairly obsessive. I am 67 now and need to 'thin the herd.'
I bought this mail order in the early 80's. If it were a legit vintage Apple LP it would be worth big bucks and would have the familiar green Apple labels and the cover would look better. Despite what any seller on eBay etc. may not say (left unsaid), it is a 'pirate' LP release sourced from a vinyl original. The same guys also did THE BEATLES CHRISTMAS ALBUM at the same time (I returned all but one). Too good to be true. If I had saved the extra Christmas LP's I would have made a profit by now, but I was not a happy camper at the time. At least they let me return them. Stored in a sleeve and away from light.
It is still a collectible as are the CHRISTMAS ALBUM and INTERNATIONAL SUBMARINE BAND repros they did at the same time. No internet back them and it was all mail order and letters. You can see a couple of legit copies listed by international sellers of this album...label is the real APPLE and cover printing is better (original). Will cost you about $400+ or so. This was the first time I had ever seen a reasonably priced copy offered and it was years before the Apple CD reissues. This is not a RECENT vinyl reissue.
DISC: Looks like new, played twice. You will hear tics here and there. Sourced from vinyl. I see no pressing flaws to make specific tics. I 'play grade'...I am rather obsessive. Looks M, Plays VG+
COVER: All four corners got some dings in mailing. Upper left and bottom right about the same. Lower left smaller ding and upper right minor.
They must have stacked copies while the print/glue was not completely dry as they stuck to each other some on one edge (you can see it is from other copies). Minor on the FC (middle right). A piece stuck on the Back Cover and a small pc beside it was pulled off. *o/w NM--
PLAY GRADED - I use GOLDMINE Grading Guidelines and I pack SECURELY!
