The second album from Jeff Lynne's first band (and the first record he ever produced) receives the Record Store Day treatment on multi colored splattered 180g vinyl.
Most people, in speaking of The Idle Race, are referring to the group as it existed during the years 1966-1969 with Lynne in the lineup. That group's output got a new lease on life during the mid-'70s in the wake of the success of Electric Light Orchestra.
