Description
The Jam - 'All Mod Cons'
Polydor – POLD 5008 - UK 1979 – 1st Pressing
Vinyl/Sleeve: VG+/VG+
Matrix: (a) POLD 5008 A//1 STR STRAWBERRY
(b) POLD 5008 B//1 STR STRAWBERRY
Vinyl: Very Good +
This record has been cleaned and play checked. The playing surface has no obvious marks or scratches but there is a pronounced groove in the last track on side two which is probably due to groovewear. Playback is excellent with a few dull underlying tics heard in the last track probably caused by the aforementioned pronounced groove. The labels are in nice condition with just a trace of spindle trails.
Sleeve: Very Good +
The glossy sleeve is in quite nice condition with very little edge wear, however it does have some light bends across the bottom corners. The spine has been slightly flattened although it has no wear. The printed inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no seam splits.
Side One: All Mod Cons / To Be Someone (Didn’t We Have A Nice Time) / Mr. Clean / David Watts / English Rose / In The Crowd
Side Two: Billy Hunt / It’s Too Bad / Fly / The Place I Love / ‘A’ Bomb In Wardour Street / Down In The Tube Station At Midnight
