This extremely rare 1977 vinyl sampler from the leading record importer of the era was intended to introduce the U.S record retail market to the best music coming out of the then-new UK punk and new wave music scene. Because many of these artists had yet to sign with U.S. labels, this sampler served as the American debut of many of these soon to be household names, most notably The Sex Pistols. Elvis Costello first appeared in this country on this vinyl.
