The Jam - "Sound Affects" LP and "Going Underground/Dreams of Children" single TEST PRESSINGS
Labels:  "Presswell Records" (no artist info)
Matrix numbers: "Sound Affects" 12" LP: PD.1.6315.BS.PW (PR) / PD16315AS-PW (PR) "Going Underground/Dreams of Children" 7" single: PRO14580NP.5455-PW (PR) / PRO14580NP.5454-PW (PRO)
These records both came with generic sleeves, and the labels of each read "Presswell Records" with blank "Date," "Customer," No.," and "Remarks" spaces printed underneath "Test Pressing."  There is no information about the single; it was included in the generic sleeve of the LP and, unlike the lp, has no printed sheet with artist, album, track, track, and label information.  The printed sheet for the LP indicates that this is a test pressing for the US/Canada release of Polydor cat. no. PD-1-6315, The Jam's "Sound Affects."  
I received these records from a next-door neighbor who was an industry exec at the time of their release.  He told me that he was getting rid of things he'd never listened to, and by the looks of these records, he was telling the truth.  I have only listened to each of these twice and they are in beautiful condition, each a strong NM-.
