Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and 3 MIL poly inner sleeves
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- This version has an anomaly. The cover logo and copy says Reprise Records but the 2 records are on the Warner Bros. label.
- Weird, but it's all in the family. I guess it also makes it more collectible. It has also been out-of-print, in any form, for a long time.
- Check out the track list...nothing but Jimi's best.
- This Mint copy is a Promotional Copy. The gold foil Promo stamp is embossed on the top front cover.
- This copy has also never been played.
- The cover art is by French abstractionist Jean Messagier.
- The single piece board gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows very little wear.
- The gatefold features an essay by Bruce Pates and several rare photos of Jimi.
- The inner sleeves feature the Hendrix catalogue and a memorial photo of Jimi. I have included soft poly inner sleeves.
- This one-owner was acquired by the Seller from WB in 1982. It has been in storage for 34 years.
