Description

Lovely copy of the first pressing UK mono release. No lyric sheet insert.

Visual: Lots of spindle marks around hole from being put on the deck. A few light scuffs and scratches here and there on vinyl and one bigger mark as per photo. Small tear top of inside cover, as pictured.

Sound: Some very light crackling in background of the beatless intro EXP, but inteference is not really noticable on rest of tracks. The occasional very faint pop or crackle here and there that are hard to notice. VG+

If you are reading this then you appreciate Jimi and appreciate vinyl. I cannot tell you what a pleasure it is listening to this in the original mono, which is a significantly better experience than the stereo version I'm testing side by side. The history, the sound, the feel; everything about this record transports you back to dayglow, hippy London in 1967 in a way no remaster ever can. An awesome timecapsule from the man, Jimi. Tune in, turn on and buy this record....
